Events in Celebration Town Center

The coolest place to be this summer will be Summer Fest at Celebration, Florida. A five day event complete with cooking demonstrations by world famous chefs from the Food Network, professional tennis stars, national recording artists, and one unforgettable 80’s pop band – A Flock of Seagulls.

A stop on Lincoln’s “Savor the Dream” tour, Summer Fest will get started on June 30th with professional chef demonstrations by such famous names as Marcus Samuelsson (Chef and co-owner of Restaurant Aquavit, he was the youngest chef ever to receive a three-star restaurant review from The New York Times in 1995.  Read more about Marcus Samuelsson here)  on the Lincoln stage, test drives of the latest 2008 Lincoln line of cars, demonstrations by professional tennis stars, and concerts by some of today’s hottest singers such as Vaughan Rhea (VonRay), Big 10-4, JR Richards (Dishwalla), and Lava/Atlantic superstar Toby Lightman in exclusive acoustic performances.

July 1st through July 3rd, will continue with more cooking demonstrations and appearances by tennis superstars, Lincoln test drives, and performances by various artists such as Tony Wynn & Groove Factor and The Reflections Band.

On July 4th, Celebration Town Center will travel back in time to the 1980’s. A time when Rubik’s cubes reigned supreme, big hair and leg warmers were in style, and the TV was dominated by such cultural classics as The A-Team, Magnum PI, Miami Vice and the loveable alien-Alf. Celebration Town Center’s “A Flashback 4th” will feature an 80’s costume contest, an unforgettable fireworks extravaganza themed to classics from the 80’s, and a performance by pop icons-A Flock of Seagulls. The evening benefits The World Skin Cancer Foundation.

A Free Park and Ride Shuttle will be available on July 4th from 215 Celebration Place.
