Events in Celebration Town Center

On July 4th, Celebration Town Center will travel back in time to the 1980’s. A time when Rubik’s cubes reigned supreme, big hair and leg warmers were in style, and the TV was dominated by such cultural classics as The A-Team, Magnum PI,  Miami Vice and the loveable alien-Alf. The event begins at 5:00 PM and the fireworks will get under way at 9:30 PM.

Celebration Town Center’s “A Flashback 4th of July” will feature an 80’s costume contest at 7:30 PM, so come dressed to impress. It will also feature a fireworks spectacular set to the theme of the 80’s best loved music, and a concert by 80’s icons-A Flock of Seagulls at 8:00 PM.

There will be something for people of all ages as Radio Disney will host a three hour Kids Zone and will showcase a special rock concert by kid sensations Rock 535. The extended Kids Zone will feature an assortment of inflatables for kids and teens that will include a jousting area, a rock climbing wall and more.

Additional music will be offered by The Dixieland Jazz Band. This unique group, made up of former members of the “Rosie O’Grady’s Good Time Band” offers patriotic music for the whole family. Local favorites “Noteable Success” will entertain crowds at Lakeside immediately following the Flock of Seagulls performance.
