A Flashback 4th of July: Rockin in the Yesteryears

Celebration, Florida brings back Yesteryear with “A Flashback 4th of July” featuring Michael Andrew & the Atomic Big Band

On July 4th, Celebration Town Center travels back to a time when gas was affordable, Franklin D. Roosevelt was in office and Babe Ruth ruled the baseball diamond. Celebration’s “A Flashback 4th of July” will be an All-American Celebration set to a Big Band Era theme. Celebration was modeled to resemble a small southeastern town with pre-1940’s architecture; the perfect setting for a Big Band Era inspired event.

Join Michael Andrew & The Atomic Big Band, along with the Swing Knights, a collegiate swing club, for a rip-roaring good time filled with fun and excitement for the whole family to enjoy including a themed fireworks spectacular what you won’t soon forget. Bring your dancing shoes, and join in on the fun!

Actor, singer, composer, entertainer, Michael Andrew has been performing songs from the American popular songbook since he was a young boy. For two years, he was the headline singer and bandleader at the world famous Rainbow Room atop Rockefeller Center in New York City. A favorite with celebrities, Andrew and his band performed every Saturday Night at the Coconut Club at the late Merv Griffin’s Beverly Hilton.

Currently, Andrew performs all over the nation with both his 18-Piece Atomic Big Band. He’s performed as a singer and bandleader in the movies Heartbreakers with Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt and Bobby Jones-Stoke of Genius with Jim Caviezel. Michael Andrew is a frequent guest artist with symphonic orchestras and continues to develop theatrical projects which showcase his comic characters and classic singing style.
